This new building is located next to the old Martin County Courthouse, and serves as the hub of Inez’s “Government District”. The Government Center houses offices for the County Judge/Executive, Attorney, Treasurer, Clerk and payment department, as well as the sheriff’s department and holding cells, emergency operations center and 911 dispatch operations.  A large fiscal court meeting room, arranged similarly to a standard city council chambers, was also included.
